The Government, through the Environmental Fund, has launched an incentive programme to support the installation of electric vehicle chargers in residential buildings. This support covers 80% of the cost of purchasing the charger, up to a maximum of €800 per unit, and 80% of the costs of the associated electrical installation, with a limit of €1,000 per parking space. 

Main details of the programme:

• Limit on chargers per condominium: Each condominium can benefit from the installation of up to 10 chargers, corresponding to one per condominium owner. 
• Connection conditions: Chargers must be integrated into the Mobi. The beneficiary will assume the role of Charging Point Owner (CPO). 
• Additional Support: The Environmental Fund will also cover the Electric Mobility Management Entity (EGME) fee applicable to the CPO for two years.

This incentive aims to promote electric mobility and facilitate access to charging infrastructure in collective residential environments, contributing to the energy transition and reduction of carbon emissions.

Applications must be submitted between 31 March 2025 and 15 May 2025, or until the maximum number of grants has been reached, with the programme being limited to 216 chargers or a total amount of €400,000.
