The government has launched an incentive programme for the installation of electric vehicle chargers in condominiums, covering up to €1,800 per condominium owner. The support includes 80% of the cost of the charger (max. €800) and 80% of the electrical installation costs (max. €1,000). The programme allows for the installation of up to 10 chargers per condominium and covers the Mobi network tariff for 2 years. Applications are open until 15 May 2025 or until the budget is exhausted.

The reduced VAT rate of 6% for renewable energy equipment is a temporary measure that ends on 30 June 2025.
